Intermediate Swim: Designed for Intermediate swimmers who have some swimming and open water experience. However, since most adult triathletes do not come from swim backgrounds they have developed inefficient swim strokes. The goal is teach these athletes how to become more efficient in the water. We teach proper technique using up to date swim principles and theories. We then combine the swim principles with form specific drills. In the end the athletes are able to improve their swim times by learning to expend less energy.
In order to participate you must register each week prior to the swim session (number of swimmers per session is capped). Registering beforehand allows us to better manage the number of participants in a given session so we can best serve our athletes and maximize the "athlete–to–coach" ratio to provide everyone with the best coaching experience possible.

When: Friday Swim Sessions - Basic/Intermediate Swimmers Arrive any time after 6:00 pm and be ready to swim by 7:00 SHARP

In order to participate in the swim session, each TriLatino Member is required to bring: - Swim Cap
- Swim Goggles
- Bathing Suit
- Towel (towels will not be provided by the facility)
- Locker lock
- Pool buoy (Recommended)
- Slippers (Recommended)
Shower facilities are available at Carnegie Park Swim and Health Club.
